Installation and Fountain Hook-ups
- Bronze West Imports does not offer local installation services due to the unique requirements of each sculpture. However, we provide expert guidance and technical advice throughout the installation process. Customers must provide all necessary materials and services, including plumbing, electrical work, lighting, and other essential needs.
- We strongly recommend hiring experienced landscape and installation professionals to ensure high-quality service and support for successful outcomes.
Receiving and Damage Inspection
- Bronze West Imports strongly advises that all delivered sculptures, whether received in wooden crates or packed in boxes, should be inspected immediately upon receipt to ascertain if any damage occurred during the shipping process.
- Please refrain from signing the driver's delivery receipt document until you have completed your inspection. The driver will wait for you to finish this procedure.
- If there is any evidence of damage, please note on the driver's delivery receipt, above your signature, the following: “This delivery is conditionally accepted to permit the necessary time to unwrap and inspect contents to determine if delivery-related damage occurred”.
- Should you find visible damage to your sculpture upon delivery, please inform the driver that you decline to accept the delivery due to damage and instruct the driver accordingly.
- In the unlikely event that your sculpture is damaged in transit, you are responsible for inspecting and reporting the damage immediately upon receiving your shipment. Failure to do so may result in forfeiture of your right to file a damage claim. Bronze West Imports, Inc. will not be liable for shipping damages that are not reported at the time of delivery.
Bronze West Imports will collaborate with the shipping or freight company to address damage claims to your satisfaction, provided they are reported at the time of delivery.
Receiving, Moving and Installing Large/Heavy Sculptures Safely
Large sculptures, such as life-size horses, safari animals, or any sculpture over 500 lbs., require special handling and equipment for proper off-loading, moving, and installation. Bronze West Imports expects buyers of large sculptures to have the necessary equipment, skills, and knowledge to supervise and ensure safe movement and installation.
Bronze West Imports offers guidance and expertise to buyers to help them prepare for receiving and installing large sculptures; however, we do not assume liability for accidents or damage resulting from improper or unsafe unloading, moving, or installation procedures. For further details, please visit the "Shipping and Exchanges" tab on our home page.
Customer's Obligation for Installation
The installation requirements for bronze sculptures are specific to each site. Therefore, Bronze West Imports strongly recommends that buyers engage a qualified landscape designer or architect for the installation of sculptures.
We do not modify or alter sculptures shipped from the foundry in any manner, nor do we install clamps, rods, pumps, or other fixtures required to meet the unique demands of each installation. However, we do provide installation guidance, expertise, and best practices to installation teams to ensure satisfactory results. For further details, please visit the "Installation Guidance" tab on our home page.
Our imported sculpture designs aim to offer customers timeless and affordable statues and art pieces intended for decorative purposes only. These sculptures are not designed for children to play on or for any use other than as artistic decoration.
It is the buyer's responsibility to properly install and secure the sculpture to prevent accidental tipping or misuse. The customer shall indemnify and hold harmless Bronze West Imports, Inc., along with its officers, directors, agents, and employees, from and against any claims, damages, losses, and expenses (including but not limited to attorneys' fees) arising out of or resulting from personal injuries, property damage, or other liabilities due to negligent handling, improper installation, lack of proper safety standards, precautions, failure to enforce such standards, or misuse or improper care of any bronze sculptures purchased from Bronze West Imports, Inc.
14 Day Returns - Choice of Merchandise Credit or 15% Restocking Fee
- Sculptures purchased from Bronze West Imports may be exchanged for a choice of either full merchandise credit or a 15% restocking fee. Return requests must be made within 14 days of delivery.
- Partial refunds are not available on exchanged sculptures; customers must replace them with sculptures of equal or greater value. In other words, the merchandise credit issued to you must be fully used for another purchase. Any portion not used will be forfeited.
- Return freight or shipping charges will be paid by Bronze West Imports.
- For either return option, customers are responsible for re-crating and re-packing returned sculptures in original packaging. If original crating and packing are not available, customers must arrange local professional packing and re-crating services at their expense.
- Costs to repair or replace sculptures returned in damaged condition or requiring re-crating will be deducted from the merchandise credit balance or added to the 15% restocking option.
