The sculpture depicts two cavalry soldiers on horseback in a moment of urgent rescue—one trooper slumped in the saddle, wounded, while his bunkie rides alongside, supporting him with a firm arm and unwavering determination. Their horses surge forward in mid-stride, muscles tensed and manes swept by motion, embodying both speed and the tension of the escape. This tabletop sculpture is mounted on a marble base.
